Document Editing Discussions
A document editing discussion allows you to upload documents and their revisions in an organized fashion, with a document lock to prevent others from editing at the same time you are. Colleagues can either comment on the posted documents or post a revision.

Task Manager
The task manager allows a project manager to create a hierarchical list of tasks and a group of users available to assign them to. Tasks can be sorted in several ways, and the project manager can see a bird's-eye-view of the entire project. Import tasks from a spreadsheet.
Slideshow
The Slideshow is a simple way to share photographs. Once a slideshow folder is created, images can be uploaded either using the "Upload" link on the page or with FTP. Once the images are in place, captions can be added.
File Library
The File Library plugin helps you organize web files and add searchable keywords or captions, and adds more icons for different types of files. Any registered user can upload a file. Hosts/sysops, and the file owner, can replace a file or edit its caption.

Mailing List
This plugin adds a specialized folder configured specifically as a mailing list. It is similar in concept to a folder of discussions, but arranged with emphasis on email subscriptions and has no support for the \"Check Messages\" form of subscription. The Mailing List Administration plugin is automatically installed.

The Mailing List Administration Plugin provides a set of tools for managing email subscriptions to a folder. Users may subscribe to a Web Crossing folder by the "check messages" method, by full email messages, by email notification, or by email digest and in general the interface to these functions is not similar to the use of mailing lists. In situations where the majority of users have used only mailing lists the Mailing List Administration Plugin provides tools and interfaces that offer users and administrators a familiar experience.
LiveX (v5)
LiveX is a private messaging system with support for optional buddy lists and logging. A list of users currently on the site appears at the top of the screen, with hotlinks to send messages to anyone, both those currently onsite and those not logged in currently. If a user leaves before they retrieve their message, it will be waiting for them until they return.

Alert Administrator
Places an "Alert Administrator" link with each non-host, non-sysop, non-self message. Reported messages are copied to a special private "Alerts" folder, which hosts can subscribe to, to receive the Alerts.
WYSIWYG Text Editor
A WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) text editor for posting to Web Crossing. Contains a user preference for on or off.

Allows hosts and sysop to upload files or type text information into a textarea, to add files to the server.
Survey Tool
The Survey Tool allows you to do anonymous, multiquestion surveys with several question types, including short answer and free-form comment fields. Export the results as a comma-delimited text file which is importable into a spreadsheet.
RSS Feeds for Folders
This places a small orange "XML" image in the sidebar in a folder. The link on this image is an RSS feed for new discussions in the folder in the last 24 hours, and can be read by a news aggregator. Please note that this is already included in the Weblog plugin, and that it does not report activity for nested folders, only immediate child discussions in the folder.

This extension enables Web Crossing to function as a news server, to serve the forum content as newsgroups, and to mirror newsgroups from elsewhere.
Multipart Email Filters
Web Crossing natively sends subscription email notices out as HTML mail. This filter allows your subscription emails to go out as multipart, meaning that text-only clients will read the text portion and HTML-savvy clients will read the HTML portion. Includes support for the "literal code" portion of messages. This is a sitewide setting. (Not compatible with localized emails.)

Delete Multiple Groups
The Delete Multiple Groups extension permits an administrator who is either sysop or a member of the group DelMultGrpsHosts to delete several user groups at once. This is convenient in situations where large numbers of groups are created for a specific purpose, such as classroom participation, and then must be deleted when no longer required.
Delete Me
For sites where it makes sense to allow users to delete their own accounts, this allows a sysop to create a link to a "delete me" feature which will delete the user clicking the link. A confirmation page with scary warning text prevents accidental deletions.

Quick Group Email
Quick Group Email permits an administrator who is either sysop or a member of the group GroupEmailHosts to send email to all users in an existing group. This is a convenient way to send group notices and newsletters.
Personal Web Services Manager
The PWS (Personal Web Services) Manager lets sysops conveniently manage users' email services (SMTP, POP3, IMAP), check how full mailboxes are, check contact email addresses and email aliases, search for users by name, domain or any of their email addresses (contact, forward, aliases). Time Since Posting
For messages less than 3 days old, displays the time since posting in days, hours, and minutes. Handy for sites with users in far-flung time zones.
Superlocalization
This adds the ability to translate the site title, and titles and descriptions of folders and discussions, and display the correct title based on the user's language preference; language switching for guests; and to translate the theme "optional items." (This may not work with some plugins.)
Navigation Popup Menu
Places a popup navigation menu of all the folders in the selected hierarchy at the top of the content area of the page. Not recommended for use on the top level of large sites or other locations with a deep, large folder hierarchy.
